Dawn Hanson Smart, a Senior Associate at
Clegg and Associates, brings over twenty years experience with social service agencies, local and state government, and United Way organizations to her work with The Evaluation Forum. Ms. Smart has expertise in outcome-based evaluation, training, and facilitation. She has worked extensively in the field of youth and family services, including design and implementation of evaluations for: Motheread/Fatheread, a seven-site family literacy program in Southwest Washington; Girl Scout Beyond Bars, a prison-based girl scouting program for girls whose mothers are incarcerated at the Washington Correctional Center for Women; an eleven agency AmeriCorp collaboration; and Seattle Team for Youth, a $1.5 million gang prevention/intervention project. Recent training and consultation clients include: Idaho Project for Refugee Resettlement, Hawaii Community Foundation and Office of Hawaiian Affairs, and United Ways in California, Hawaii, Utah and Washington.
